Cameron is the local "golden" over looking the many visitors.
The gentleman are a couple of cyclists refueling before the switchbacks.

The water was running fairly high for this season and produced some white water. The class was curious how you would capture this....here is my attempt! Enjoy!

Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 05:54PM We had a quick trip to Jackson Lake in Grand Teton National Park last week, a favorite spot of ours! This painting was entered in my moleskin watercolor journal, sitting at Colter Bay Marina.
Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 10:06AM We had a fun group starting their watercolor journey last Saturday at The Gardens on Spring Creek. This is a quick demo using one object - a pear. The first is a one color - cobalt blue, the second a two color - burnt sienna and cobalt blue and the third a three color - cobalt blue, aureolin and scarlet lake.

Friday, June 25, 2010 at 09:37AM This morning was the perfect painting day! We gathered in the children's garden as I did this demo of the "Pot Heads". I painted in my Moleskin watercolor journal. The drawing was completed with a Micron Pigma 05 marker, then watercolor added. Enjoy!
Friday, June 25, 2010 at 09:24AM We had the chance to paint at the home of my student Steve, in the Cherokee Park area of Northern Colorado. What a spectacular setting to spend the day painting. This is my demo in the beginning stages. It was cut short because of the rain. We tried to paint in the rain as long as we could. Even with an umbrella, rain and watercolor painting is a bit challenging!
